An article in the Journal of the American Medical Association, published way back in January 2005 by investigators from Tufts-New England Medical Center, outlined in detail a study of the four most popular diet plans. It was a study of 160 overweight adults over a full one year period. The researchers split people into four diet plan groups and I expect, if you’re reading this, you will have heard of them or even tried some, you might be on one now:
- Weight Watchers (low calorie)
- The Zone Diet (low glycemic index)
- The Ornish Diet (low fat)
- The Atkins Diet (low carb)
No prizes for guessing that the study concluded all of these diets worked, BUT only when the participants followed them; sounds obvious doesn’t it?
There was a bit of an issue, however. The issue was that less than one in four was able to stay on their diet, even for just this one year!
As with stopping smoking, hypnosis is by far the safest, most researched and effective way for you to stick to whatever eating plan you have chosen.
We all know how hard it is to follow any diet programme and we all know how failing to stick to it just increases disappointment and frustration. Hypnotherapists have helped people slim for years now and it’s gained popularity. Hypnosis is one of many tools you can use to effectively shed weight.Hypnosis fat reduction techniques mean you don’t need any special diet, funny tasting diet shakes and bars or any other concoction. You don’t need to make yourself sick after a roast dinner or even buy a size bigger to ‘convince’ others you’ve been good.
I’m not saying though that you can survive on Curly Wurly Bars and get away with it. Always try to remember that with hypnosis there are no side effects; it’s simply a drug free aid to slimming. Best of all, the outcomes last a lifetime.
The key to successful weight loss is NOT the diet plan itself, but actually your ability to FOLLOW IT!
