Manage Chronic Pain

SHOULDERPAINI felt a lot better even after the first session and things just got better from there.  My stubborn back pain had me at my wits end so I really turned to Hypnotherapy after a mate of mine suggested it.  I’m now able to do so much more, it has literally changed my life and I would highly recommend you get in touch with these people“.  Nigel, Ashford, Kent.

Did you know that around 14 million people in the UK suffer with persistent/chronic pain?

Chronic Pain is a very personal and subjective experience and a condition in its own right.  It involves persistent pain or repeated bouts of pain over a long period of time.

I’ve also seen Chronic Pain described as “a common complex sensory, emotional, cognitive and behavioural long-term health condition which occurs when pain cannot be resolved by available medical or other treatments.”  Now, that’s quite a mouthful, so however you choose to describe Chronic Pain, it’s comforting to know that there are ways to make things better than they are for you right now.

Many healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and of course Hypnotherapists play an important part in effective pain management…

…and that’s where I come in.

How will Hypnotherapy & Coaching help?

How does reducing pain and improving your ability to get back to daily life sound? It’s wise to remember that Chronic Pain usually cannot be cured, but it absolutely can be managed7df927d6

It’s long been recognised that Hypnosis is an extremely effective weapon in the battle for controlling those stubborn aches and pains, with the added benefit of course that it’s completely natural, with only positive side effects. In a few more enlightened countries Hypnosis is widely used in the medical world for operations, dentistry and even childbirth.

“Thank you so much for your help with my shoulder pain. Happy to say I am feeling much better now.  The pain we worked on in my shoulder has completely gone!  In fact, I am feeling less pain in general. I was very impressed with your treatment and would recommend anyone who has pain to come to see you”. Vanessa, East Sussex.

Shaun, practices what he preaches in this respect having had some pretty serious ankle reconstructive surgery WITHOUT anaesthetic…only Hypnosis. Just imagine…no groggy feeling on coming round, no being manhandled on and off operating beds without you knowing and definitely no constipation!

There are various ways that I could use Hypnosis to help you so we would have a chat first to work through an appropriate treatment plan.

I’m a big fan of self-help and so every step of the way I’ll explain what you can do to help yourself when I’m not there with you.
